Welcome to (the “Site”). In this Privacy Policy, the words “Connext”, “we”, “our” or “us” means ReliaMax Lending Services, LLC, and its affiliates. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”). Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you must not use the Services (as defined below). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the use of the information you provide as described in this Policy. This Policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of any Services after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the Policy periodically for updates. As used in this Policy the words “you”, “your” or “User” means any individual who uses the Services, such individual’s agents or representatives, and any cosigner designated on any loan application submitted through the Services. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Policy shall have the meaning given to them in our Terms Of Use. This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the Connext mobile app (the “App”) or visit the Site and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. As used in this Policy, the App and Site and all related websites and online services, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Site and the App from time to time, whether as a guest or a registered user, are collectively referred to together as the “Services”. The term “Lender” means the lender to which your application for a private student loan is submitted for consideration and approval. This Privacy Policy is limited to information we collect through the Services and does not apply to any third-party activities, including third-party websites linked from the Services, third-party social networking platforms or features we make available through the Services, or third-party advertisements displayed on the Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties. There will be separate privacy disclosures that are provided in connection with financial products and services that are covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999. You should refer to the separate disclosures for further information about the privacy policies related to those financial products and services and the use of your nonpublic personal information.

This Policy applies to information and data we collect:

• Through the Services;
• In electronic messages between you and us through the Services;
• Through mobile and desktop applications you download from the Site or through an online store such as Apple iTunes, Windows app store or Google Play store, which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and us;
• When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites, mobile apps and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this Policy; and
• From any User account that you establish

This Policy does not apply to information collected by:

• Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by us or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries); or

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about Users of our Services. The information we collect from you will vary depending on the product or service requested, and may include the following information and data:
• First and last name, date of birth, mobile number, other mobile device ID, geolocation information, telephone number, email address, postal address, college or university, year of graduation, course of study, outstanding loan balances, social security number, income, employment history, and other details related to your financial situation (individually or together the “Personal Information”) when you register with us, submit an application for a student loan or prequalification request, or if you correspond with us.;
• That is about you but does not individually identify you;
• About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access or use the Services and usage details;
• Information about your use of the Services including automatically recorded times and dates of visits to or use of the Services, website analytics data, and the use of third party analytics tools; and
• Information that you provide to us about other people (such as co-signers), including their first and last name, address, telephone number, birth date, email address, postal address, social security number and other information that is clearly identified in the Service; and
• The contents of a User’s electronic communications with our representatives, Lender’s representatives and public comments and postings on the site.

We collect this information:

• Directly from you when you provide it to us.
• Automatically as you use the Services. Information collected automatically may include usage details, Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses, geolocation, mobile device ID, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
• From third parties, for example, other businesses with whom we have a business relationship.

Information You Provide to Us. The information we collect on or through our Services may include:

• Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Services. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Services, subscribing to our Service, posting material or communications, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us, and when you report a problem with our Services.
• Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
• Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
• Details of transactions you carry out through our Services and of the fulfillment of your requests.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies. As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

Web Beacons. Our Services and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email, to anonymously track the online usage patterns of our Users, and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
Log file information. Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you access the Services. When you use the Services, our servers automatically record certain log file information. These server logs may include anonymous information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Services, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.

We do not recognize or respond to browser “do-not-track” signals or instructions.

Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies.

Some content or applications on the Services are served by third-parties, including content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use the Services. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. • To enable you to provide information about you to Lenders in connection with your request for a private educational loan or a prequalification request. Lenders may keep any information you provide through the Services. Any information we provide to Lenders about you will be subject to the Lender’s own separate privacy policy.
• To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
• To operate, maintain and provide to you the features and functionality of the Services. This may include customization and tailoring the Services features according to the information that you provide as well as measures to expand the accessibility and functionality of the Services.
• To communicate directly with you. We may send you emails containing newsletters, promotions and special offers. If you do not want to receive such email messages, you will be given the option to opt out or change your preferences. We also use your information to send you Services-related emails (e.g., account verification, changes/updates to features of the Services, technical and security notices). You may not opt out of Services-related emails.
• To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide the information.
• To notify you about changes to our Services or any products or services we offer or provide though it.
• To allow you to participate in interactive features on our Services.
• In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
• For any other purpose with your consent.
• We use or may use cookies, log file and clear gifs information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the site; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) provide and monitor the effectiveness of our Services; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns; (e) diagnose or fix technology problems; (f) help you efficiently access your information after you sign in and; (g) provide advertising to your browser. We may share cookies, log files, clear gifs information and similar tracking information with Providers. (as defined below)

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We will not rent, sell, or share information about you to third parties outside ReliaMax Lending Services and its affiliated companies (including any parent, subsidiaries and affiliates) without your consent, except as noted below:

• To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
• To contractors, Providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep Personal Information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
• To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by us about the users of our Services is among the assets transferred.
• To Lenders to whom your application or prequalification request for a private student loan is submitted.
• To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have consented to these disclosures. We contractually require these third parties to keep nonpublic personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
• To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
• For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
• With your consent.

We may also disclose your Personal Information:

• To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
• To enforce or apply our Terms Of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
• If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of us our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Consent to Disclosure / Sharing of Your Information. In addition to the foregoing, when you submit an application for a private student loan or request other products or services by means of the Services, you specifically consent to our sharing information as provided below and agree as follows:

• We may share your information with Lenders and other third party service providers (together with Lenders, the “Providers”) for the purpose of providing the Services to you such that they may provide you with information about private student loans and other products and services they offer. If you sign up for a promotion, register a User account, submit a loan application or prequalification request or enroll in a service with a Provider, we may provide information that you have provided to us to Providers. Those Providers will be given limited access to your information as is reasonably necessary to deliver the Services.
• You agree that when you submit information to a Provider or other third party through the Services, submission of your information may also be governed by the Provider’s or third party’s privacy and security policies which may differ from our Privacy Policy. It is your obligation to inquire as to the details of such policies from Providers or third parties directly.
• You understand that Providers may keep your information that relates to any submission of information that you may make through using the Services and any other information provided by us in the processing of any submission of information. You agree to notify any particular Provider directly if you no longer want to them to keep your information.
• We may also share your information with other parties, such as third party service providers, who assist in the completion of your information and/or verification of your identity. This may include (but is not limited to); consumer reporting agencies, service providers that provide access to your existing accounts (at your request), your school, and other parties involved in the lending processes. In some instances, we may need to create a User account with such service provider in your name in order to process your requests. You authorize us to establish such User accounts as are appropriate. You agree that such third-party service providers may have their own privacy policies and that you should review those separate policies.
• We also remind you that under our Terms Of Use you authorize the use of your User account information to help complete prequalification requests, loan applications and other sharing with third parties.

Advertisements on Services

We may use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences. Even though we do not disclose your personal information for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria.

We may also share certain information such as your browser and cookie data and other data relating to your use of our Services with our business partners to deliver advertisements (“ads”) that may be of interest to you. We may allow third party advertising servers or networks to serve advertisements on the Services. These third party servers or networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the ads and ad links that appear on the Services, and will automatically receive your IP address when they do so. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript and clear gifs, see above) to compile information about your browser’s visits and usage patterns on the Services, and to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize the advertising content. We do not sell, rent, or share the information we collect directly from you or about you from third parties with these third party ad servers or ad networks for such parties’ own marketing purposes.

Please note that an advertiser may ask us to show an ad to a certain audience of users (e.g., based on demographics or other interests). In that situation, we determine the target audience and we serve the advertising to that audience and only provide anonymous aggregated data to the advertiser. If you respond to such an ad, the advertiser or ad server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, third-party advertisers. Please consult the respective privacy policies of such advertisers or contact such advertisers directly in the event that you are communicated with in connection with the Services.

Third-Party Sign In and Social Media

You can log into the Services using sign-in services provided by third parties, including certain third-party social networking platforms. Certain third-party services available through the Services may give you social media options that allow you to interact with or post information about your activities from the Services to third party websites. The third-party services and platforms have their own privacy policies which you should review. These third party services may share personal information about you with us as described in their privacy policies.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your personal profile by logging into the Services and visiting your User account profile page. You may also send us an email at to correct or change any profile information that you have provided to us. If you wish to change any profile information, we may retain any earlier information that you have changed when we deem it appropriate or to comply with applicable law. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. Even if you delete your User account, we may retain any information about you that we deem appropriate or to comply with applicable law. Proper access and use of information provided on the Services is governed by our Terms Of Use.

Links to Other Sites.

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from the Services or to which you direct us to retrieve information, including the information or content contained therein. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites or services. Your interaction with any third party website or service are subject to that third party’s own rules and policies. You agree that we are not responsible for or have control over any third parties that you authorize to access your information. We are also not responsible for sites that direct you to us.

Your California Privacy Rights

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the Services in order to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. The safety and security of any information you provide or submit also depends on you. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to or through the Services. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to the Privacy Policy on this page with a notice that the Privacy Policy has been updated on the home page. Storage and processing

Your information collected through the Services will be stored and processed in the United States. How long we keep your User Content

Following termination or deactivation of your User account, we may retain your all information you provide to us through the Services or otherwise, including without limitation Personal Information, for a commercially reasonable time for purposes that may include backup, archiving, litigation or auditing; provided, however, that we may retain such information for longer periods in order to comply with applicable law or to the extent we reasonably believe necessary.
